Freo Startup Fest is returning for West Tech Fest 2024 🎉. Taking the stage at the renowned Freo.Social in the heart of Fremantle, Freo Startup Fest is a fun and frenetic day for startups, investors, and founders looking to connect, innovate and drive the success of Startups in Western Australia.

Join us this December 4th to hear directly from successful founders who have navigated their way to remarkable achievements and breakout success this year, sharing the strategies that propelled them forward.

Get a front row seat to a live startup pitch competition 🦄 returning this year for a faster, fun-fuelled contest for the vaunted Golden Ticket.

We’re also thrilled to reintroduce Tek Talks 🔌 powered by Tekkon, featuring industry leaders and experts who will provide actionable insights on leveraging the latest trends in tech—from AI and no-code tools to cutting-edge development tips and tactics.

This year we’re turning the tables and inviting a number of VCs and Accelerators to pitch to YOU. In this reverse pitch they will be asked to tell you why you should consider investment from them and what they have to offer.

And of course the crowd favourite Pitch Frenzy 🔥 is back for your opportunity to take the stage for 30 seconds and pitch your ideas to the Startup and Investor networks of WA and beyond and win FSF merch for getting a startup BINGO.

After the Pitch Frenzy you'll get to kick back in one of the courtyards with free drinks and food from Chef Nimrod Kazoom, who provides food with “An ounce of Tradition, a pinch of Innovation, a touch of simplicity and mix it all in a bowl of heart”.

But wait there’s more! From 7pm we will have live entertainment on the side-stage in the Song Frenzy 🎵🎸 It’s your chance to get up and sing or play a song with one of our guitar virtuosos. Stay tuned on social media for the opportunity to showcase your musical talent.
