Freshwater Microbiology of the Pine Barrens

Parking is free. All ages are welcome. Visitors are welcome to bring snacks, drinks or a bagged lunch. 

We will have water samples to view under microscopes and go over microscope use, basic identification of freshwater plankton. 

Learn about HABs (Harmful Algal Blooms), plankton and citizen science. You may bring water or soil samples from your own sources to view as well.

Large groups, scouts, school pods or camps may email for possible discounted rates or private alternate dates.
