This is not a meet and greet. This is not a red carpet.

This is Fifty people in one of Central Otago's best small bars on a Friday night in Matariki — with Jaide and Kodi behind the bar.

Jaide grew up in Central Otago. Coming back to the Maniatoto for Matariki is a homecoming as much as anything else. This evening is her idea of a good Friday night — and it should be yours too.

The Thirsty Moa holds a small crowd deliberately. That's the point. There are no VIP sections, no barriers, no handlers. Just a genuinely good evening in a genuinely good space with people worth spending a Friday night with.

On the night:

• Doors open 7:00pm

• Jaide and Kodi working the bar all evening

• Wooing Tree wines, cocktails, food boards

• Photo props and lighting set up for the night

• Lohi Linen available to browse and purchase in-store
