Friday Fun at the Boat Shed - Alcohol Ink Workshop!

Plan a fun night out or get the girls together with our Friday Fun at The Boat Shed.

For our first event we have an Alcohol Ink Workshop.

What's included:

Beginners Alcohol Ink Workshop: Share in the magic of handblown alcohol ink painting. You will learn step by step how to master this beautiful and fluid artform. Using inks, traditional Japanese Yupo paper and ceramic pieces, you will experiment and learn the various techniques of this very addictive artform.

No prior experience required. All materials, tools and aprons included.

The workshop will take approximately 2.5hrs to complete.

Drinks: Welcome drink on arrival: Wine, Bubbles or Beer.
Our Bar will be open for further purchases.

Food: We will be providing Platters on arrival, with an option to purchase from our Fridays Fun Menu.

Time: The room will open at 6:30pm, with the Fun starting at 7pm!
Please bring your tickets on the night to show to our staff.

Place: The Boat Shed, Lake Hume.

We are passionate about supporting a local charity - Betty's Place.

Betty's Place provides a safe and supportive environment for women and children who are escaping or have experienced Domestic and/or Family violence.
They are committed to the following:
* Addressing the issues in our community which result in the perpetration of domestic violence against women and children
* Increasing awareness in the wider community about the prevalence and issues of family violence and social injustice, through community education, community development, advocacy and professional training
* Providing a flexible service, which is responsive to individual needs with a particular awareness and respect of differences such as age, culture and sexual orientation.

Betty's Place is currently raising funds to upgrade their accommodation needs to support their clients in a more efficient and supportive way.

$10 of each ticket purchased will be donated to Betty's Place.
