Rooted in the timeless spirit of the mountains and carried on the breath of soul music, this acoustic quartet brings a fresh and heartfelt sound they call Acoustic Appalachian Soul. Fronted by the transcendent vocals of Datrian Johnson, whose voice blends raw emotional depth with gospel-infused clarity, the group weaves together rich acoustic textures and rhythmic intimacy.

Jamie Hendrickson’s intricate guitar work anchors the quartet with a warm groovy foundation that nods to both Appalachian folk traditions and modern acoustic fusion. On upright bass, Quinn Sternberg adds a deep, resonant pulse—equal parts earth and elegance—while Vic Stafford, a veteran of genre-defying drumming, brings subtle groove and dynamic finesse to the mix.
