Friday Night Live from YCK
Event description
Friday Night Live from YCK curated by the Sydney Fringe Festival
Sydney Fringe has curated an extravaganza of rock, soul, pop and disco for the first night of Live from YCK. Headlining the night is uncompromising Brisbane-based performer Jaguar Jonze – the firebrand pop-punk songwriter whose debut album Bunny Mode is out now. Jaguar Jonze is joined by producer-instrumentalist JOY of ‘Smoke Too Much’ fame, as well as Tongan princess Kilimi with her baile and Afro sounds, Wollongong indie quartet Pirra fronted by the irrepressible Jess Beck, and the RnB stylings of Ms. Thandi.

“Sydney Fringe is delighted to be working with YCK on Front and Centre. Being able to play a part in celebrating incredible female identifying artists; and placing their stories front and centre is something we strive to do in our festival and beyond. To be able to partner with one of the City’s most exciting hospitality precincts who are creating innovative ways for audiences to connect is a real highlight of Fringe this year. “Â
