This event is for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people.

TGV Friday Social Group meets at Affirmation Station (Brunswick East) and is designed for trans, gender diverse and non-binary people who want to connect with other TGD people in a safe, inclusive and affirming environment. Come have a chat, build social connections and do some fun activities!

What to expect: Speed friending and show & tell

The group will be facilitated by LJ (they/them), who is TGV's Peer Programs Facilitator and two amazing volunteers! They will be there to guide the conversation and activities.
We will start with speed friending - your chance to meet & greet other folk!
After this you will get a chance to show and tell anything that you like. You could bring a piece of art you've been working on, tell us a funny story or even share a book you have been reading. It can be as short or as long as you like. You can prepare something in advance or make it up on the spot.
The second hour will be directed by you - it will be a chance to connect, play board games, do activities of your choice and/or arts and craft

Who is it for:

The group is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly.
