FridayFocus | Are you involving the wider team in developing your business plan?
Event description
At Industry Partners Australia we provide opportunities for our members to connect and share their collective knowledge and experiences.
Our 2024 Friday Focus sessions are topic related and an opportunity to discover new knowledge and insights from your peers. In this 45-minutes focus session we will explore the very important topic of involving the wider organisation in your business planning.
It is well recognised that involving your team (and extended teams) in business planning will grow engagement and give people “skin in the game”.
However, how can you realistically do this?
Sir Alec Issigonis, designer of the original Mini in 1959, famously said, “a camel is a horse designed by committee.”
Business planning is not a fully democratic process, so how do you create involvement without putting people offside when you don’t include their suggestions?
The best businesses manage expectations well and build a common belief in their direction and goals.
Come along and engage, learn, and connect with your peers in industry.
We will start the discussion with:
- How do you include the wider organisation in your business planning?
You will need: A computer with video and audio capability so you can engage effectively with other attendees.
Who should attend?
This event is ideal for Business Leaders at all levels from all areas (that's the point), anyone interested in developing their CI knowledge.
