It's been awhile between camps so we are all looking forward to this one! 
Uncle Eugene, Aunty Eliza and the Friends of Nowanup welcome you to the 2023 Makuru Camp. 

Join us to warm up around the fire on Country, catch up with friends, meet new ones and reconnect to ancient ways of being. With some tending to be done to new walking trails that Uncle Eugene and the Caretakers have recently been working on. 

Timing: From Friday mid afternoon and departing Sunday early afternoon or for part of the time.

Who can attend: This camp is open to adults and children with an interest in contributing, spending time on Country and learning more about Noongar ways of being, doing and knowing. 

Lunch and Dinner Provided: community cooking help is appreciated. If you are interested in taking on a role in the catering team (and attending on a contributor ticket) please let us know!

Cost: Please allow a contribution of $110 ($80 concession, $55 Contributors) for two nights. Children under 6 are free and 6 and above are $20. Contact Via if you would appreciate financial support to attend.

Accomodation: Camp accomodation bringing your own gear.

What to bring: breakfast, drinking water, warm and wet weather gear, gloves, secateurs, firewood if possible, musical instruments and art and craft materials.

There are limited numbers for this camp and all bookings must be made by Tuesday the 4th July.
