Everyone is welcome! Stick around after the Friends of the Gallery Annual General Meeting, to hear CSU Associate Professor Sam Bowker speak. This vivid lecture explores the art history of astronomy, from intricate astrolabes to rotating orrories and celestial spheres, through the imagination and inventions of artists and scientists in collaboration.
