Event description

Join Friends of Rotorua Museum for a snappy AGM followed by a slideshow and talk by Paul Ingram of Lee Bros who are undertaking all the heritage joinery work in the Rotorua bath House (museum) rebuild.

Lee Bros is excited about being involved in the heritage building project. They have recently painstakingly removed the staircases from the foyer and catalogued every single piece of timber so that it can returned to exactly the same position when the stairs are re-constructed.

If you attended our talk in August, you may remember heritage architect, Brent gleefully expressing his disappointment at, self proclaimed ‘hands on’ Lee Bros director, Paul Ingram’s proud claim that the stairs won’t creak anymore!

Bookings essential.
