Celebrate FrogID Week AND the Australian Pollinator Count by learning about Bendigo's small and sensational wildlife!
Come along to:
- Discover the wonderful world of native bees and other pollinating insects and their important roles in our ecosystem.
- Learn about some of Bendigo's local frog species, their ecology, lifecycle, variety of calls and how to create frog-friendly habitat.
This is a free, family-friendly event and all are welcome.
Meeting point: We will meet at the entrance to Riley Street Natural Reserve (at the end of Riley Street) then go on a short walk in the reserve listening to frog calls and looking for pollinating insects.
What to bring: Bring water and as this is an outdoor event, wear weather-appropriate clothing, including enclosed shoes and a hat.
