Frogs of the North East
Event description
Join Milawa Markwood Oxley Landcare Group for their AGM and to hear from Swamps Rivers Rangers Project Coordinator, Sophie Enders.
Sophie will help us understand what frogs need to survive and thrive in the environment, why they are an important link in the natural food web and what is impacting on their survival.
There will be a particular focus on endangered and vulnerable species like the Growling Grass Frog and Sloanes Froglet.
We will learn how and why we should be using the Frog ID app, just in time for Frog Week!
The evening will include fun, frog related games for children and dinner is provided.
Bring your own chair and dress appropriately for the weather (also think mozzie)
