"Truly outstanding! Highly recommended. An opportunity to experience beauty that you won't forget."

From Argentina with Love is a 70-minute dive into Argentina's vibrant traditional musical cultures. This unique selection of songs bridges Argentina's folkloristic roots and its many vocal genres based on dance rhythms like tonada, zamba, and cueca. It features beloved tangos by Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel alongside works of great beauty from the Musica Folklorica style.

Your guides are Argentinian mezzo-soprano Maria Eugenia Nieva, who's sung these songs since she was six and has been praised for her rich and expressive voice, and Andrew Blanch ("a rockstar of nylon acoustic music"), one of Australia's foremost classical guitarists.

The two professional and life partners have recently delighted audiences at over 40 highly-praised concerts across the USA. Their love for this music, each other, and connecting with their audiences makes for a very special and memorable experience.

There is usually heaps to see and do in Gunning on concert days. But a power blackout from 9 am to 3.30 pm means all of our cafes will be out of action as will most of our art, craft and antique outlets. If you are hoping to enjoy a pre-concert coffee, why not bring a thermos,

Post-concert dining should still happen at the Telegraph Hotel Bistro https://gunningpub.com
