From chaos to clarity for small business
About this workshop
From Chaos to Clarity - Make Your Small Business Work Better
Understand your workflow. Reduce unnecessary work. Decide what to fix first.
When you're running a small business, there's always something demanding your attention. Customer requests, admin, follow-ups, unexpected problems and those improvements you've been meaning to make that can quickly become one long list of competing priorities.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll get to take a step back from running your business to look at how work flows from the first customer enquiry through to delivery and close-out.
Together, we'll make the everyday work visible, including the tasks that are easy to overlook: admin, follow-ups, rework, delays and extra work that can arise when client expectations or boundaries aren't clear.
You'll use this bigger-picture view to identify where your processes could work better and which improvements are likely to make the most difference.
Then you'll learn a straightforward way to move from ideas to action. You'll organise your improvement opportunities, estimate the time and effort involved, prioritise what matters, and create a realistic two-week plan with three to five key actions. A simple visual board will help you keep track of progress once you're back in the business.
You'll leave with a practical improvement plan, a clearer understanding of how your work flows, and tools to help you keep making progress beyond the workshop.
You don't need a big team, specialist software or previous experience with Agile or systems thinking. The methods are simple, adaptable and designed for the realities of running a micro or small business.
Who is it for?
Early-stage and established small business owners who feel stretched, spend too much time fixing problems, or know things could work better but aren't sure where to start. Ideal for those wanting to reduce unnecessary work, improve consistency, manage customer expectations more effectively and build better ways of working as their business grows.
