Description

An open invitation. No experience needed.

The world can feel like a lot to hold right now — intensifying weather, an unpredictable El Niño season, and the quiet unease that comes with watching a changing climate unfold. This is an invitation to set aside a late Sunday afternoon and give yourself something different: 2.5 hours of intentional pause.

Join The Resilient Activist for an online retreat built around community conversations and one practical tool you can carry with you long after the screen closes: guided Pranayama (yogic breathing), taught live.

Think of it less as a meeting and more as a retreat — a dedicated block of time, away from the noise, alongside others who are feeling the weight of the moment too.

Whether you're an activist, an environmental studies student, or simply someone who's been carrying more than usual, this space is for you. No prior meditation or breathwork experience required — just come as you are.

What to Expect

  • A grounding practice to arrive and settle in

  • Small-group conversation — space to name what's on your mind, no pressure to have answers

  • A guided breathing practice: taught live, then practiced together

  • Time to reflect on how the practice landed, and how you might use it on your own

  • A closing reading
