From Country to the World: A Bushfoods & Cultural Showcase
Fundraising for Terra Madre 2026
Join us for a unique evening celebrating Western Australian bushfoods, culture, and emerging culinary talent. The event will feature:
Award-winning dishes from the WA Secondary School Bushfoods Competition winners.
Culinary experiences developed under the guidance of award-winning Chef Paul Iskov (Fervor).
Participation from members of the Australian Culinary Federation WA Youth Team, leading WA chefs, teachers, and emerging culinary talent.
Cultural knowledge and storytelling shared by Elder and bushfood specialist Dale Tilbrook.
A fundraising auction featuring artwork and experiences supporting First Nations youth and community representatives to attend Terra Madre 2026 in Turin, Italy, where they will showcase Western Australian Indigenous food culture, leadership, and innovation on an international stage.
This event is being delivered in partnership with industry and community leaders including Mandoon Estate, the Australian Culinary Federation, and Slow Food, creating unique opportunities for young people to connect culture, food, leadership, and international pathways.
If you would like to support getting our team to Terra Madre, you can also donate via our Go Fund Me page.
