From Doom to Bloom - Yoga and Kirtan at Deśa
Description
On Saturday 17 October, people across the planet are coming together for Origin, a global day of ceremony, music and regenerative action for the Earth. From living rooms to city parks, hundreds of gatherings are taking place in the same moment, guided by Indigenous Elders and united by a shared intention: to move from doom to bloom.
We’re adding Jan Juc to the map.
Join Em Flick at Deśa Retreat for an evening of movement and voice. We’ll begin with a grounding yoga practice to arrive in the body, then move into kirtan, call-and-response chanting where many voices become one. No singing experience needed, just a willingness to contribute your sound to the collective experience.
We’ll close by holding seeds in our hands and setting an intention for the Earth, part of Origin’s Seed the Dream invitation. You’ll take your seeds home to plant.
All levels welcome. Come as you are.
What to bring
Your yoga mat (mats also available if you dont have one), something warm for after the sun goes down in case weather permits a fire outside afterwards, and a handful of seeds (any kind you’d love to see grow).
