From Events to Impact: A Grant Preparedness Workshop

Join the POISE Foundation for From Events to Impact: A Grant Preparedness Workshop on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Homewood Community Engagement Center. This free, hands-on workshop is designed to help nonprofits, grassroots organizations, churches, and individuals strengthen their grant writing skills and gain a clearer understanding of the funding process. Participants will learn how to translate one-off events into sustainable programs, craft clear and compelling grant proposals, and create budgets that align with their goals. The session will also introduce strategies for requesting general operating support and connecting those requests to realistic budget planning. Led by Shaqui Scott, Program Officer at the POISE Foundation, this interactive session will provide practical tools and guidance to help participants position their organizations for funding success.
