From Idea to Asset: IP 101 for Founders with Davies Collision Cave
Description
Building something worth protecting takes time. Knowing how to protect it shouldn’t feel overwhelming.
Join Spacecubed and Davies Collison Cave (DCC), one of Australia’s leading intellectual property firms, for a practical Lunch & Learn designed to help founders, startups and growing businesses better understand the fundamentals of intellectual property.
Whether you’re launching a product, building a brand, preparing for investment, or simply trying to understand what IP exists in your business, this session will break down the key concepts in a clear and accessible way, without the legal jargon.
Through this session, DCC specialists will unpack how patents, trade marks, copyright, designs and confidential information work together to protect innovation, brand value and competitive advantage as your business grows.
You’ll walk away with:
A practical understanding of IP fundamentals
Greater awareness of the IP already existing within your business
Insight into common mistakes and early-stage IP risks
A clearer understanding of what founders should consider before launching, fundraising or scaling
This session also marks the launch of Spacecubed’s new partnership with Davies Collison Cave, who are joining the community as our Exclusive IP Partner. Through the partnership, founders will gain access to ongoing 1:1 IP consultation clinics delivered online and in-person at Spacecubed. Read more about the partnership here!
