From My Lips To Yours: Exploring Poetry Through The Lens of Reciprocity

Join Samoan (Falealili, Falelatai)/Welsh writer, poet, journalist, kaiako and multidisciplinary artist Dani Kionasina for an evening of Moana art and upu (words). If you are interested in developing your poetry skills with a supportive community of storytellers, this activation is for you.
On the night, you will embark on the process of gathering upu in response to the Solesolevaki exhibition. Guided by your senses and relationships, your writing will explore the theme of reciprocity. Through talanoa, creativity and community building, Dani Kionasina will offer awhi (support) as you navigate these exercises.
Learners of all ability levels are welcome. Wherever you are on your writing haerenga (journey), you are encouraged to utilise this nourishing space.
