From one run to a movement: Nedd Brockmann & Noah Yang

GiveSA invites you to a special event with 2026 Young Australian of the Year, Nedd Brockmann, and We Are Mobilise Founder and CEO, Noah Yang, on Wednesday, 21 October.

Moderated by leading South Australian MC Jessica Adamson, the conversation will explore the story behind Nedd and Noah’s remarkable partnership, their work supporting people experiencing homelessness and how one person’s willingness to get uncomfortable can grow into a movement.

We’ll hear what has been achieved through Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge, what comes next for We Are Mobilise and how more people can get involved.

Thanks to generous philanthropic support, GiveSA events are free and accessible to our community. Light refreshments will be served.

Who is this event for?

This GiveSA event has been designed primarily for philanthropists, funders, foundation representatives, professional advisers and business and community leaders interested in giving and social impact.

Due to venue capacity places are limited, with a small number reserved for charitable organisations. To help us welcome a broad range of organisations, we kindly ask that each charity registers no more than one representative.

Bonus: Get uncomfortable with Nedd and Noah

As an additional opportunity to take part, Nedd and Noah will lead a free 5km community run or walk along the River Torrens at 4pm just before the GiveSA event as part of Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge (NUC).

The NUC South Australia event is open to everyone: NUC challengers, run clubs, families, first-timers, anyone who wants to move for a good cause, with the opportunity to donate in support of We Are Mobilise and their South Australian charity partners.
