A full-day, hands-on introduction to homegrown living

Get your hands in the soil and your jars on the shelf!

Join Mitch, Founder of Patch to Plate Living in his own urban homestead in suburban Sydney for a full-day course where you’ll learn the essentials of growing and making your own — no experience (or big backyard) needed.

Across four interactive sessions, you’ll:

🌱 Propagate plants Learn how to take cuttings, grow new plants from old, and pot up your own to take home.
🥒 Pickle your own veggies make your own jar, and explore how preserving food connects to sustainable living.
🌿 Master composting Turn kitchen scraps into garden gold; demystify compost systems for small spaces and busy lives.
🍅 Learn to grow your own food Practical design ideas, soil mixes, and seasonal planting for balconies, courtyards, or small yards.

We’ll break for a relaxed BBQ lunch included in price— a chance to connect, share stories, and enjoy some of the good life together.

You’ll head home with new skills, a few homemade goodies, and the confidence to start living more sustainably, right where you are.

The course will be run by Mitch, founder of Patch to Plate Living, an experienced food grower, educator and fermenter.
