From stagnation or pressure to sustainable performance
Description
Navigate workforce pressure and change while managing energy, adaptability and wellbeing.
Working in aged care means responding to changing expectations and competing demands, while also supporting older people through change. Too little challenge can limit growth, while too much pressure can become overwhelming.
In this interactive 90-minute online session, Martin Probst will explore how to balance challenge, support and recovery — for yourself and the people you support. You’ll examine the Comfort, Learning and Panic Zones, how learning, unlearning and relearning can help you adapt to change, and the ACES framework for managing energy.
What you’ll learn
Recognise the Comfort, Learning and Panic Zones in yourself and others.
Identify when to take on a challenge, seek or offer support, and make time for recovery to maintain wellbeing.
Challenge assumptions and recognise what you may need to learn, unlearn or relearn.
Adapt your thinking and behaviour in response to change.
Support yourself and others through challenges without becoming overwhelmed.
