Event description
Fruit Loop Festival
Marlborough’s freshest music festival!
About the Festival
Fruit Loop Festival is Marlborough’s juiciest new summer gig! A full-blown celebration of music and dance, kicking off under the sun and well into the night. Think open-air energy - blending Marlborough's summer magic with a full-scale music festival. An insane line-up of DJs and live performers with production to match! From the first drop to the final track, it's where the beat hits harder and the drinks taste sweeter.
Fresh, wild, fierce - Fruit Loop is the party Marlborough has been waiting for.
The Line-Up
DICK JOHNSON: The heart of NZ’s electronic scene, Dick Johnson is a true house music heavyweight. With remixes for global icons like Fatboy Slim and Claude VonStroke, plus Kiwi favourites L.A.B and Tiki Taane, he’s spent over two decades electrifying dancefloors worldwide. A relentless force behind the decks - and music director for Synthony - Dick brings the fire every time.
SIN: Co-host of George FM Drive, Sin is plugged into the pulse of the dance scene and has quickly become a revered authority on all things electronica. She’s torn up stages at Rhythm & Vines, Homegrown, Hidden Valley, and international festivals from Fiji to the UK. With supports for legends like Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, and Netsky, Sin brings high-energy house, techno, and ravey curveballs to every set.
KITA MEAN: Kita Mean is New Zealand’s award-winning drag superstar, known for her infectious charm, razor-sharp wit, and high-camp aesthetic. With a career spanning 15+ years across stages and screens worldwide, she’s wowed audiences from Aotearoa and Australia to London, Canada, the USA, and beyond. Winner of the very first RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under and co-owner of the iconic Caluzzi Cabaret, Kita continues to dazzle with colourful looks, flawless mug, and hilarious timing. Quirky, kooky, kitsch, and quick - Kita Mean isn’t just a queen, she’s an experience.
PETE GREEN: Originally from the UK, Pete is part of the vinyl-digging collective Rare Specimens. His love for deep, worldly electronic sounds brings low-end warmth and an infectious energy to the dancefloor. Along the way, he’s supported artists such as Crazy P, Psychemagik, Audio Jack, and Christopher Tubbs, playing festivals and parties from Creamfields and Rhythm & Alps to Tempo Schmempo. Expect a set seasoned with Italo, ambient, and deep house flavours, dusted with disco, and finished with a splash of techno.
