Fruit Share Adelaide - Summer Pruning Workshop

Join us for this hands-on workshop, where Indi from Patch of Plenty will explain the how, why, what, and when of pruning.
The workshop will be held at SA Composters.
Please park outside the main gate on the verge to maintain access for customers.
Various tools and pruning techniques will be discussed followed by a hands-on pruning demonstration.
Topics covered in the workshop will include:
- Pruning basics
- Pruning different types of fruit trees
- Demonstration
- Q&A
This event will be held outside so please remember to bring the following:
- A drink bottle & hat.
- Wear weather-appropriate clothing and enclosed shoes
- If you have eye protection, gloves & secateurs bring those too!
Presenter's Profile - Indi (Patch of Plenty)
We're friends and passionate food growers with experience in home and market garden contexts. We have backgrounds in horticulture, conservation biology and community work. We live and work in Adelaide and the surrounding southern suburbs.
Our aim with Patch of Plenty is to help more people grow gardens that produce food, are ecosystem-centric and are resilient in a changing climate.
