FSC Club Lunch - September 30th

We are delighted to welcome FSC member Wade Hughes as our guest speaker for the September Club Lunch.
In his presentation, On Being with Whales, Wade will share highlights from 14 expeditions undertaken with his wife, Robyn, travelling the world’s oceans in search of whales.
Their journey has taken them from the Azores and Polynesia to the fjords of Norway and beyond, resulting in an acclaimed photographic exhibition and the award-winning book Looking for Whales. Through their remarkable images and Wade’s firsthand accounts, the presentation will offer glimpses into the lives and observed behaviour of humpback whales, sperm whales, orcas and other species encountered along the way.
On Being with Whales explores what it means to spend time in the presence of these advanced species that we know as whales, combining adventure, photography, natural history and a long-time interest in the marine environment.
The event includes a drink on arrival, followed by Wade’s presentation and a buffet lunch.
