    Event description

Join us this June as Antonia Taylor shares inspiring stories from her recent trip to Sri Lanka! She spent time with Selyn, a WFTO Guaranteed organization creating incredible, vibrant fabric kids' toys and stunning woven textiles. Antonia also visited Bio Foods, pioneers of Fairtrade tea, spices, and coconut products. There, she met with coconut farmers who showcased how transitioning to biodynamic and Fairtrade agriculture transformed their yields and opened new markets in Europe for delicious coconut milk.

Don't miss these inspiring stories of transformation and sustainability!

Former Fair Trade Association Executive Committee member, Antonia Taylor has worked in the social enterprise and not-for-profit sectors with a focus on Fair Trade for the majority of her career. While working and living in Cambodia for three years, she founded Khmer Creations - a social enterprise supporting women through the production of fashion accessories. She went on to become the Western Australian manager for Oxfam Australia Trading for eight years, one of the world's largest Fair Trade Enterprises.

In 2021, she launched Fair Space, an ethical retail brand with unique, impactful products. Now studying social impact at UWA, Antonia is passionate about sustainable development and social systems change.
