What's Next for Fairtrade in Australia?
You may have been wondering what's happening at Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand now that Flocert have taken over the Fairtrade label certufication process.
Sam Platt, Commercial Partnerships & Climate Solutions Manager at Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand joins us for an update and a glimpse in to Fairtrade's plans for the future.
Sam is passionate about supporting businesses to achieve their sustainability ambitions by delivering positive social, economic and environmental impact for Fairtrade farmers and workers.
Sam brings a deep knowledge of Fairtrade, having worked for over eight years with the Fairtrade Foundation UK and Fairtrade ANZ across a variety of different roles. He began his career as a Fairtrade campaigner supporting towns, schools, universities and faith groups to raise awareness of Fairtrade in the UK. Since then, his work has focused on partnership development across Fairtrade value chains, from smallholder farmers through to brands, retailers and consumers.
Join us as we hear from Sam, discuss opportunities to work more closely and take this chance to ask questions.
