Description

Step into an emerging food forest — and then grow your own.

Held in an ambitious syntropic installation designed by Arthur, with four acres, planted in 23 x 50m tree rows, and 12 Tithonia biomass rows.

This hands-on session lets you experience a food forest system in action, at scale. You’ll learn how to manage support species, build fertility, and take away ample plant material, you can use in your own installation.

Perfect timing for your spring planting — come ready to learn, get your hands dirty, and leave with inspiration rooted in practice.

The training is led by Arthur McInnes of Twin Falls Nursery, and James Andrews, and has been organised by James Samuel.

A collaboration purposed to grow community capacity in Northland, for establishing and evolving food producing landscapes based on Syntropic Agroforestry principles. We do this primarily through training events so more people experience the joy, connection and abundance that can come from creating, maintaining and being with these dynamic systems.
