Fuá da Tita is a Naarm (Melbourne) - based forró band channeling the vibrant pulse of Brazil’s northeast. With deep roots in traditional rhythms like xote, xaxado, baião, and arrasta-pé, our music is joyful, percussive, and irresistibly danceable.
Influenced by legends such as Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Trio Nordestino, and Os 3 do Nordeste, Fuá da Tita delivers high-energy sets that celebrate the true essence of forró: music made to move.
Our contagious grooves and rich instrumental arrangements invite everyone - dancers or not - to feel the rhythm and join the fun.
This will be our second time playing at Bar 303, and we couldn’t be happier to share a Friday evening filled with music, dance, and joy.
