Every year, millions of tons of office furniture end up in landfills—some recyclable, some reusable, and some simply wasted. But what if waste wasn’t the inevitable outcome? What if the future of furniture was designed with circularity in mind—where materials are reused, repurposed, or regenerated rather than discarded? Environmental stewardship in the design industry is no longer just about reducing waste; it’s about designing with the future in mind, and making choices that positively impact both businesses and the planet.

Join us for an engaging discussion with industry experts Grace Manuel, Lead Sustainability Specialist at Haworth, and Heidi Frasure, Head of Sustainability at Green Standards as they share their insights on circular economy, sustainable materials, and the long-term value of responsible design.

For the Omaha community, this conversation is particularly relevant as architects, designers, and business leaders seek to create workspaces that are not only beautiful and functional but also environmentally responsible. Whether you’re specifying products, advising clients, or simply curious about the future of sustainable furniture, this event will provide actionable insights and a fresh perspective on how our design choices come full circle.
