Solstice Ecstatic Dance - Denmark

Event Update: Location changed due to beach erosion/water, we are now at the Denmark Angling club which also means we can dance on grass then swim!

An outdoor ecstatic dance using silent disco headsets so we respect our environment, have great sound and get to dance in nature.

Ecstatic Dance is a free form practice that invites you to dance like no one is watching to delve under the layers of holding and resistance to set your inner dancer free. A Joyous celebration of life on the dance floor (beach!) be in the moment moving which ever way you wish, be in community as you express and release, ground and uplift your spirit to ecstatic states, alcohol, drug and smoke free.

We invite you to dance your being into presence during this solstice, harnessing the subtle energies and focusing your attention on the magick that is in your dance. A time to stir the pot and cleanse the body, spirit and mind, allowing life force to flow through.  

Moving with an authentic dance is to release tension, free judgements and step into compassion for ourselves. This then has the qualities to radiate out into our lives, to our loved ones as well as our not so loved ones ;)

Conscious dance is an age old tribal and community practice, gathering to raise the vibration of the community and is healing in the process.

No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination, with you, the dance floor and great music.

Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life's complexities in the moment

6:30 to 8:30pm, Check in closes at 7:00 no entry after then.

Please bring a water bottle, a hooded top incase there is a breeze, and of course bathers (or not!) to swim after the dance.

$22 Low income/concession (Inc GST + Booking fee)

We have partnered with Humantix who will donate your booking fees to a charities in Australia.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Request a refund or ticket transfer to another event 24hrs before the event, after this period you can transfer to a friend yourself.

Alcohol free, drug free and smoke free event.

No talking on the dance floor, turn up purely to dance together.

This event is not suitable for kids, (18+)
