Fun & Futures - Ninja Academy & Career Series Launch

Fun & Futures: Career Series Launch

Fun & Futures: Career Series Launch is a joint event that brings together physical activity and future-focused opportunities for young people.

The event combines Ninja Academy obstacle course sessions with the official launch of a new year-long Career Series program (2026–2027). This program is designed to help young people build skills, confidence and connections with local industries in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

Throughout the day, participants can book into Ninja Academy sessions and also attend the Career Series Launch, which will be the first opportunity to learn about the program and sign up.

A food truck will also be available all day, making it a welcoming and social community event for young people and families.

What’s happening on the day?

The event includes two key activities:

Ninja Academy Sessions (10:00am – 4:00pm)

-          Hourly Ninja Academy obstacle course sessions available throughout the day

-          Cost is $5 per session

-          Younger children are encouraged to attend in the morning (ages 5 - 12 years), with teenagers (ages 13 - 17 years) in the afternoon

*EDIT: As the sessions for younger children are now fully booked for the morning, an additional session has been added in the afternoon.

Career Series Launch (12:30pm – 1:30pm) - Free to attend

-          Includes a FREE lunch for participants

-          A short introduction to the new year-long Career Series program

-          Opportunity for young people (and parents) to register their interest and sign up
