The Pirates RRRR

The Pirates RRRR are right into the r’s of waste and encourage their crew to do the right thing with waste whether its recycling, reusing, reducing or rethinking what can be done to decrease the amount of rubbish that ends up in the ocean. Raising awareness of environmental issues including pollution and plastic in the ocean the Pirates RRRR will help us learn how we can reduce our negative impact on the environment.

COVID-19
Do not attend on the day if you are:

• experiencing any flu-like symptoms (sore throat, loss of taste/smell, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever)
• awaiting the results of a test for COVID-19
• have been directed by NSW Health to isolate.

Please assist in keeping all participants safe during the event, by observing instructions provided by Council staff or signage.

Photographs, videos and voice recordings
Randwick City Council staff may on occasion take recordings of participants during activities (including photographs, videos and voice recordings) that could be used for the following purposes:

• educational or community information purpose
• Council displays and promotions of community education events
• to complement the promotion of Randwick's Marine and Coastal Program.

If you DO NOT wish for the participant’s recording to be used according to these conditions, please indicate this during the booking process.

Cancellation conditions
This activity may be cancelled due to insufficient bookings, poor weather or NSW COVID-19 health orders. All care has been made in the preparation of the 2023 Marine and Coastal Discovery Program but some changes may occur due to circumstances beyond the control of Randwick City Council.
