Want to learn the fundamentals of painting great landscapes? Want to turn your favourite snaps into a work of art?

Over 5 Friday mornings starting August 23rd at Flourish Art in South Lismore, Marty de Weerd will guide you through the process. Starting with the principles of composition through to completing your masterpiece, Marty will teach you a step by step approach to working with acrylic paints on canvas. This expanded short course will include tutorials on painting key features such as trees, clouds and rocks and some plein air painting.

This workshop is aimed at beginners but suitable for all levels.

Supplied: Canvas, Acrylic paints, Reference photos, All other materials (excluding brushes)

What to bring: Brushes, A reference photo if there’s something you really want to paint, snacks and water
