Fundamentals of Playback Operation
Description
Fundamentals of Playback Operation is a hands-on introductory seminar for audio professionals, musicians, producers and tour personnel looking to build practical playback skills for live performance.
Using Ableton Live and iConnectivity PlayAUDIO hardware, participants will learn how to open, navigate, troubleshoot and prepare an existing playback session for use in a concert setting. The seminar focuses on operating pre-programmed sessions rather than advanced programming, arranging or MIDI production.
Designed for people with little or no playback experience, but who have a basic understanding of live music production, audio interfaces and DAW, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn essential playback concepts in person and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools.
This seminar is brought to you by Eights Creative, OMS Canada and the Rootdown.
