    Event description

Step into a world where perception is reshaped, boundaries are shattered, and consciousness takes flight! Join us for an electrifying demonstration of the cutting-edge frontiers of psychedelic research, where science and psychedelic realms converge in a mind-expanding exploration like never before.

Following five sold-out Sydney events demonstrating the new advances in Psychedelic Medicine (see Facebook Reviews), Voytek Bereza, a UK-licensed prescribing neuropsychopharmacist (GPhC no. 2068979), returns for a new experience at the East Sydney Community Centre, Oxford St, Sydney.

    The experience includes:

    • A review of the new Australian Government approval of MDMA and psilocybin as medicines.
    • A comparison of key psychedelic compounds, including ecstasy, magic mushrooms, DMT, LSD and ketamine covering effect, duration of action, and safety.
    • A review of the most up-to-date scientific data on their efficacy and use in depression, anxiety and PTSD.
    • A brief history of where the medicines originated from in nature including common cacti and mushroom species.
    • How psychedelics might be used to improve people's nature connectedness and help more people address the environmental crisis.

The lecture will last for 30 minutes and will be followed by a 15-minute forum-style questions and answer session. For anyone who would like to stay further, there is also the opportunity for attendees to experience a temporary, non-drug-induced hallucinogenic state using stroboscopics (see below).

For further updates, click the link and join our Fundamentals Psychedelics Facebook Page or sign up for our mailing list for more events. On the proceeding day (Sunday 16th July there will also be a Psychedelic Integration Circle). All proceeds from ticket sales go to The Transparent Company.
