Fundamentals of Psychedelic Medicine
Event description
Following the last two sold-out lectures at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre on the Identification of Australian Mushrooms and Fundamentals of Psychedelic Medicine (see Facebook Reviews). Voytek Bereza a licensed neuropsychopharmacist (GPhC no. 2068979) returns for a second showing delving deeper into the principles behind Psychedelic Medicine.
This lecture will give you the chance to experience a temporary, non-drug-induced hallucinogenic state using stroboscopics (see below).Â
Prior to the demonstration, there will be a 45-minute lecture which includes:
- An in-depth comparison of psychedelic compounds covering effect, duration of action, and safety.
- Reviewing the most up-to-date scientific data on efficacy and use in depression and anxiety.
- Where they are found in nature including common cacti and mushroom species.
- Legality data including the most recent TGA (Australian Government Medicine Agency).
- How they might be used to better recognise and address the environmental crisis.
The lecture will last for 45 minutes with an extended 30 minutes at the end for further questions and group discussion.
