Fundamentals of Sound Healing: The Art of Integration – Level 2 Sound Healer Training Course (Laguna Beach)

We’re excited to introduce INTERMEDIATE TECHNIQUES OF SOUND HEALING, our Level 2 Group Training Course in Sound Healing, designed for returning students and those who have completed our Fundamentals of Sound Healing Level 1 course or any other Level 1 Sound Bath course!

Taking everything you’ve learned in your foundational training, this next level immersion is focused on building greater fluency, control, and musicality in your sound healing practice. This weekend training is centered around learning the flow of how to weave multiple instruments together, build more sophisticated sonic textures, and bring emotional rhythm and dynamic resonance into your sound baths.

Over the course of two days, you’ll learn how to blend both planetary gongs and crystal singing bowls in real time, how to shift seamlessly between various chords and tones, and how to layer rhythm and phrasing into your sequences. You’ll also learn the techniques that allow us to create those signature swells, waves, and spacious transitions that are essential for holding a captivating sound journey.

This curriculum is designed for students who already have experience or training in sound healing and are ready to enhance their musical intuition, deepen their skillset, and become more expressive as a sound healer.

Here’s what you can expect:

Two-Day Intermediate Training:
Dive deeper into your sound healing journey with this focused two-day training intensive. Over the span of 4–5 hours each day, you’ll learn through guided instruction, hands-on demonstration, and collaborative practice sessions with fellow students.

Crystal Singing Bowl Techniques:
Refine your ability to transition between multiple bowls, learn how to move through different harmonic combinations, and develop fluidity in your playing. Discover the secrets that help produce intentional melodies, dramatic swells, and meditative sequences with greater ease and nuance.

Gong Layering & Rhythmic Play:
Learn how to combine multiple techniques on the gongs to create rhythm, texture, and impact. This includes combining multiple gongs, working with advanced mallet techniques (including custom mallets), and learning how to shift between gentle waves and more powerful crescendos.

Accessory Instrument Integration:
Explore the different categories of sound found in instruments such as rainsticks, ocean drums, chimes, crystal harps, and more. Learn how to blend them thoughtfully into your sequence for an immersive and multidimensional sound experience.

Instrument Fusion:
Develop your understanding of how to blend gongs, bowls, and accessories together. You’ll be guided through creative exercises that train your ear and intuition, helping you harmonize and layer instruments in ways that feel coherent, grounded, and emotionally resonant.

Sound Journey Composition:
You’ll conclude the training by learning a full 30–45 minute sound journey sequence, combining all the instruments covered. This foundational template will serve as a launching point for creating your own personalized sound bath experiences moving forward.

Creative Expansion in Group Settings:
Practice playing with others, gain feedback, and discover the joy of co-creating within a supportive group environment. Whether you prefer to work independently or alongside other facilitators in the future, this collaborative space helps build confidence and clarity in your own voice as a sound practitioner.

Continued Presence Practice:
Reinforce your ability to stay grounded, present, and attuned during sound journeys. This training not only refines your technical skills, but strengthens your capacity to listen deeply—both to the instruments and to the energetic field of those you’re holding space for.

Yes, if you’ve completed a Level 1 training and feel confident in your ability to play both crystal singing bowls and planetary gongs, you are welcome to sign up. This course is best suited for students who are ready to explore intermediate-level techniques and learn how to weave instruments together in a sound journey. Why should I learn from you?

Is it necessary to have musical experience to take this training?
Absolutely not. I will personally convey the necessary musical theory during your training.

Do I need my own set of instruments for the training?
While we will provide all the necessary instruments, it is best if at least you have your own set of bowls to optimize your training experience. If you do not have a set of crystal bowls or if you are traveling from a far and unable to bring your bowls, please let us know so we can account for you. For every other instruments, we will provide what is needed.

Why is the certificate optional?
While some may claim that certification is mandatory for sound healing practice, we believe in transparency. To enroll in this course is a commitment to self-improvement and spiritual growth. However, we understand that, for some, a certificate of completion is a testament to their dedication. Certain individuals or establishments may require certification to host public sound events, and our Level 2 Sound Healer Training Course prepares you for this, culminating in a Sound Healer Certificate upon completion.
