Ahead of the 2023 election, Infrastructure New Zealand has developed a set of policy positions which will act as the starting point for the important conversations as we seek to address our massive infrastructure deficit. Join Infrastructure New Zealand and Priority One as we explore the challenges and opportunities for meeting Tauranga’s growth-generated infrastructure demands.

The panel will discuss transport pricing, improved local government settings and central-local government partnerships, with a focus on the opportunity for city-deal style agreements to meet current challenges and future growth in the region. There will be further discussion on the learning’s from Tauranga’s use of the tools enabled through the Infrastructure Funding and Financing Act and opportunities to meet significant growth, connectivity, and funding pressures now and into the future.
