WINTER RESONANCE a Fundraising Event to Help Marley keep his Dad in Australia
Event description
WINTER RESONANCE at Absolute Yoga & Pilates in Ballarat
Join us at this fundraising event and take the opportunity for reflection through Yoga and healing with Sound Bath Meditation.
As winter approaches, we have designed this unique session with the intention for you to take a moment to Reflect and cherish what matters as well as Nourish your nervous system with yoga, breath work, mantra chanting and sound bath meditation.
This Sunday arvo session with Andrea (Inside Out Yoga) and Nat (Wander into Wildness) will support you to reflect, relax, reset and restore. You will experience the benefits of yoga as well as feel the healing sounds from gongs, singing bowls, drums, chimes and more.
BYO yoga mat, water bottle, cushions and blanket (whatever you need to stay comfy). No experience is necessary for this session.
The first half of the class is more active. Together, we learn to connect to and tune the body as an instrument. This prepares you to receive as you lie down for the sound bath for the second part of the session.
If you think you’d benefit from deep rest, calming your mind and turning down the volume, as well as want to make a difference to support a family member of our community, then this unique opportunity is for you.
All funds raised from this event will go into support of Marley's Family and Andrea (Resident teacher at Absolute Yoga & Pilates until March 2022) to help them secure legal assistance and avoid the trauma and hardship of unnecessary separation.
After 11 years of living in Australia, because of an anomaly in the law, there is NO VISA for Andrea TO REMAIN in Australia TO BE A FATHER. If he doesn't receive urgent intervention from the Hon Andrew Giles MP (Immigration), his son Marley (8) will become fatherless and experience extreme trauma and hardship.
