Fundraiser for Lebanon

Join us on May 21st at Paradise Palms for an Open-Mic and Raffle to raise funds in support of relief efforts in Beirut. 

Online tickets for the event are sold out, more will be available at the door.

We welcome musicians, singers, poets, and spoken-word performers who align themselves with the cause to sign up and share the stage - if that’s not you, please do still join us for a drink, some food and a great show, with the opportunity to win exciting prizes! 

If you are interested in attending as a performer, please fill out the following form to give us more information about what you'd like to perform and if you require any accommodations. Through purchasing your ticket and signing up for the Open Mic in advance, you will also receive an extra free raffle ticket

We will close the night with a Raffle. Raffle tickets are not included in the entry tickets and can be bought at the door and during the event, by cash or card (£3 for one, £5 for two, £10 for 5). Prizes are generously donated by Hadeel, the Palestine Museum, Take One Action!, the Filmhouse, Paradise Palms, Little Fitzroy Cafe, the Lighthouse Bookshop, the Edinburgh Bookshop, Argonaut Books, Cinemaattic, Hummus, and ‘The Beading Gremlin’.

Proceeds will be donated to Truth be Told. ‘Truth be Told’ started as a justice initiative and an archive of the history of Lebanon. In face of crises, past and present, they converted into an emergency aid providing daily hot meals, mattresses, tents, medication, diapers, sanitary and hygiene products, as well as support to the families who decided to remain in the South.

We are looking forward to an evening of music, art, and solidarity for Lebanon.
