Songs for Freedom – A Folk Session for Palestine
Event description
Saturday 3rd May |7pm-10pm | L.O.V.E. Woodland | Suggested Donation £5+
Celebrating Mayday Beltane – A time of awakening, resistance, and renewal
Join us around the fire at L.O.V.E. Woodland for an evening of folk songs, protest music, and solidarity. We gather with voices, strings, and open hearts to raise awareness of the ongoing genocide and apartheid in Palestine—and to raise funds in support of the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund.
This is an open-air, acoustic folk session—so bring your instruments, your voices, your flask of tea, and some snacks to share. Let’s make music that matters.
We honour Mayday as both a Celtic celebration of fertility and new life, and as a day of collective resistance and anti-establishment spirit. What better time to gather, raise awareness, and lift our voices together?
Let the land hold us, let the fire warm us,
let the music move us toward justice.
This Land is Your Land
