📍 Venue: Lean Canvas, Level 1, 81c Lichfield St, Christchurch CBD (behind Zak's, access via the carpark; look for a blackboard sign)

⏰ Time: Doors open at 5:30 PM; event starts at 6:00 PM and concludes by 8:30 PM

🎟️ Tickets:

• Unwaged Admission: $10 per person

For students and those currently not in full-time employment.

• General Admission: $15 per person

Standard entry for the event.

• General Admission + LinkedIn Headshot: $30 per person

Includes event entry and a professional LinkedIn headshot taken in our studio during the event.

Why We’re Fundraising:

Lean Canvas is a community-driven co-working and events space, operated by passionate volunteers. We’ve successfully hosted over 200 events with minimal resources, thanks to support from partners like AWS, Canterbury Tech, and Dark Matter for our tech meetups and Roast and Toast sessions. Despite these efforts, many people are still unaware of our presence. Recently, our volunteers have secured charitable trust status for Lean Canvas, enhancing our commitment to serving the community.

 🎉 Give something a go - Whether it’s hosting an event or trying out a business idea, our space is here to support your initiatives.

We believe that being part of a community boosts mental well-being, especially compared to working solo from home. We’re dedicated to bridging gaps between different groups and lending a hand to those facing challenges we’ve tackled ourselves in this challenging economy.

Funds raised will help us:

 🎨 Add to the walls  🖼️

🌿 Add more plants to the space

 🖥️ Upgrade our equipment (e.g., projectors and meeting room screens)

 ☕ Enhance our communal kitchen with a kegerator and coffee machine

 🔌 Acquire tech accessories like USB-C docks and additional security cameras

A big shout-out to Life in Vacant Spaces, a charitable trust that connects property owners with creative individuals to revitalise empty spaces around Christchurch. Without them, Lean Canvas wouldn’t be possible. We are proud to announce that Lean Canvas is now also a registered charitable trust, reinforcing our dedication to fostering a collaborative community space in the CBD.

Comedians Andrew (Andy) Masters and Lean Canvas Volunteer Jim Luhrs will keep the laughs coming as our MCs for the night! 😂
