This special performance of Play On! is Roleystone Theatre’s charity dress rehearsal night - a unique opportunity where 100% of ticket sales go directly to a local cause. For this evening, all proceeds support Darling Range Wildlife Shelter, helping us rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife.

About the Show - Play On!
Our plucky community theatre is about to produce a show called Murder Most Foul, a new locally written “murder mystery play”…. with the same title as an Agatha Christie novel…. but with no relation whatsoever we assure you!
Our director, Gerry, originally thought producing the play was a fantastic idea since the inexperienced local playwright agreed to let the company perform the show for no fee, however had no idea what disasters awaited - the script is hilariously amateur, the “murder mystery” plot may or may not have a murder, and to top it all off the playwright keeps changing the story and script only days out from the premiere! It doesn’t help that the cast is not getting along, and then to top it all off the playwright accidentally creates a technical disaster the night before the show opens. Everything comes to a hilarious conclusion in Act III when the company ‘performs' the actual show, with hilarious mishaps at every turn. Play On! is a hilarious love letter to community theatre and sure to have you laughing, and groaning in sympathy, out loud!
