Funds for Falasteen
Event description
Funds for Falasteen - A Community Arts Fundraiser
Funds for Falasteen acknowledges the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation, on whose unceded land this event will take place. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
Join us on Sunday the 28th of April 2024 from 3pm to come together for an evening of art, music, poetry, and food, all in direct support of Palestinians in Gaza.Â
Featuring live music and poetry, DJs, curated art, soundscapes, workshops, as well as halal Arab food specials across two levels of the Lord Gladstone Hotel, Funds for Falasteen is an expansive evening of grassroots, multi-disciplinary arts from all across Sydney.Â
All proceeds from art sales, tickets, and additional donations will be donated to 2 established aid organisations below, alongside approved GoFundMe’s directly to Palestinian families in Gaza.
- Palestinian Red Crescent Society
- PARA - Palestine Australia Relief and Action
A massive thank you to all the artists and crew who have generously donated their time, energy and craft to this cause, and thanks to the Lord Gladstone for offering their space!Â
