MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED!
We know we're not alone in feeling overwhelmed by the images from Palestine right now. It's easy to feel helpless and paralysed. The best antidote to this kind of overwhelm is action.
Lizzy Baker and Kat Coppock became inspired to collaborate in bringing together the power of the arts to give voice to and support the people of Gaza.
Liz says, "I am inspired by the way I saw Palestinians using dance to build joy and resilience even in the face of such atrocity. I am inspired by how dance has always been a part of protest."
We have created this event as a space to acknowledge grief and rage, and generate hope through expression and connection.
Come and dance with us!
***Our team is composed wholly of volunteers, and the Goodwood Theatre and Studios have generously gifted us the use of the space for the day. All proceeds will go to Human Appeal Australia towards providing aid and relief to the people in Gaza.***
