Join the 2025 Fusion Pride Northern Beaches Mardi Gras Float!

Welcome! We're so excited to invite you to be part of the Fusion Pride Northern Beaches Mardi Gras float for 2025. Following our first ever entry last year, we are so stoked to be returning to the parade in 2025!!

This year’s theme, TIDE AND TRUE, celebrates the strength, beauty, and authenticity of our community as we proudly represent Northern Beaches pride in this iconic parade. As the tide rises SO DO WE!

Event Details

• Parade Date: Saturday, 1st March 2025
• Location: Oxford Street Sydney (exact meeting points will be provided)
• Cost: $100 per participant (to help cover float costs, including float entry fees, props and costumes)

Important Information

Participant Briefing Session
We’ll be holding an essential information session for all participants:

• Date: Thursday 13th February 2025
• Time: 7:00 PM - 7:45 PM
• Location: Zoom (link provided upon registration)

This session will cover all the important details, including call times, creative concept, costumes, props, rehearsals, and parade day logistics. It’s also a great chance to ask questions and connect with other participants.

Rehearsals & Workshops
While we understand that not everyone can attend every rehearsal, we ask that you make your best effort to join as many as possible:

• Saturday, 15th Feb: Dance Rehearsal 1 (Dancers Only) 
• Saturday, 22nd Feb: Dance Rehearsal 2 Costume/Prop Workshop (Dancers & Propmasters)
• Friday, 28th Feb Final Dress Rehearsal (All Participants) COMPULSORY 
• Saturday, 1st March: Parade Day (All Participants)

We are so stoked to have Oscar back to teach us our choreo!

Exact times and locations for rehearsals will be shared in the information session and via our WhatsApp group.

WhatsApp Group
After you register, you’ll receive a link to join our float’s WhatsApp group. We’ll use this for updates, reminders, and day-of communication to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Register and Pay

To secure your spot on the float, please complete the registration form and pay the $100 participation fee via this Humanitix registration. Your contribution helps us cover essential costs and make sure we have another awesome float experience.
