Future Building & Infrastructure Summit (FBIS) 2026
The forum moving productivity beyond policy

The Future Building & Infrastructure Summit brings together leaders across the built environment to explore one of the industry’s biggest challenges:

How do we actually improve productivity and delivery performance on complex projects?

FBIS is not a typical conference. It is a practical, industry-led forum designed to move beyond high-level discussion and focus on what works in real projects — through better systems, stronger collaboration, smarter decision-making and sustainable leadership.

Why attend?

Across the building and infrastructure sectors, expectations continue to rise while projects become more complex. FBIS creates a rare opportunity for clients, contractors, consultants and innovators to come together and discuss how productivity can be improved in practice — not just in policy.

Key themes include:

The role clients play in enabling better project outcomes
Leadership and collaboration across project ecosystems
Technology and AI as enablers of productivity and flow
Systems thinking for complex project delivery
Human performance, wellbeing and sustainable delivery

Keynote

Matt Gault
CEO – VIDA Rail
(Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority participating)

Who should attend?

FBIS is designed for decision-makers and practitioners from across the built environment, including:

Government clients and asset owners
Contractors and delivery leaders
Engineers, architects and consultants
Digital engineering, BIM and innovation leaders
Lean and systems thinkers focused on improving outcomes

If you are shaping projects, influencing teams, or looking to improve the way infrastructure and buildings are delivered — this is your room.

What makes FBIS different?

Industry-led and outcomes-focused
Practical insight from real projects, not theory alone
Cross-sector conversations between clients and delivery teams
A curated program focused on improving performance, not selling products
Opportunities to connect with leaders who are actively shaping the future of delivery

🎓 Optional Training Day: Tuesday 11 August 2026
(Practical Lean and delivery-focused training sessions available separately)
